Head Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Ernest Thompson has set sights on finishing the ongoing Ghana Premier League season within the top-six position.
The Cape Coast-based side have been tasked to play Asante Kotoko, a side they have failed to beat in their last four league meetings in an outstanding matchday 7 fixture of the ongoing season at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The experienced gaffer Ernest, reacting to the rescheduled fixture by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) sounded confident that his team is ready and will overcome the big boys to achieve their target for the campaign.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Hello FM in an interview, the coach said his target is to be in the top 6 at the end of the league. That’s it and we will keep maintaining it.
“For now, you can’t stick your neck out to say a particular team will win the league”
Every team playing the league this season is a contender looking at the current league log the points are very close.
“So, for now, you can’t say this team will win, we still have a long way to go. 25 matches left and I think those in the relegation zone can even climb up” he concluded.
