The ex-Asante Kotoko Captain has urged his former club to keep their momentum ahead of CAF Confederations Cup play-off tie against ES Setif on Sunday.
Kotoko have lost just a game since January, five wins, one loss, and 2 draws out of the seven games they have played.
Amos Frimpong warned that the game will not be a walk in the park for Kotoko and thus it will take hard work to beat the Algeria side.
“It is a difficult game for Kotoko on Sunday. ES Setif is doing well in their league, and one of the biggest clubs in Algeria in terms of history and achievements.”, he said in an interview with the media.
“Kotoko must work extra hard, though, in their last four games, they have started producing some phenomenal performance. It must continue on Sunday so that the return fixture will be a mere formality”,
The second leg encounter will come in Algeria a week later, February 21 with the winner on aggregate will qualify for the group stages.
