Asante Kotoko SC have parted ways with striker William Opoku Mensah.
Opoku Mensah joined the Porcupine Warriors as a free agent following to impress at Swope Park Rangers in the United States.
He signed for the record Ghana Premier League champions on a year deal with an option to extend the following season.
Opoku Mensah’s contract expired last month and the management of the club has opted against renewing his contract having failed to replicate his fine form during his stint with Karela United.
The 25-year-old has made four appearances for the Porcupines this season in all competition with no goal scored.
Meanwhile, the club earlier this morning terminated the contract of midfielder Muniru Sulley mutually.
