Contrary to reports in some media indicating the resignation of Asare Bediako as assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, the Public Relations Officer, Opare Addo has revealed to the media that the gaffer is still at post, and not given any signs of his resignation.
The former Berekum Chelsea coach was appointed to assist the then head coach Edward Nii Odoom on November 2020 after terminating his contract with the Berekum-based club.
Joseph Asare Bediako, Hearts of Oak assistant coach resigned from his post citing personal reasons.
According to Opare Addo, Asare Bediako has not officially informed us [Hearts of Oak] about his departure. We’ve only seen it on social media and we deal with official information.
“We know we have a complete team which we are working to make sure that the team gets back to winning ways”
“He [Asare Bediako] is still at post,” he concluded.
Coach Bediako was appointed by Hearts of Oak in November 2020.
