Bayern Munich are through to the finals of the Club World Cup following a 2-0 win over CAF champions Al Ahly in the semifinals on Monday night at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
Talisman Robert Lewandowski scored the two goals, one in each half, with the European champions dominating from start to finish.
They got off to a perfect start when Robert Lewandowski slotted in following a neat pass from Serge Gnabry.
Despite not being at their best, Hans Flick’s men got the job done when Lewandowski rose highest to nod home a Leroy Sane cross late on.
The Bavarians will now face Mexican side Tigres UANL in the finals after they saw off Palmeiras in the other semi-final.
Bayern have now moved a step closer to clinching their sixth trophy in the last 12 months, following their success both at home and Europe the past year.
The final will be played on Thursday, 11 February at the Education Stadium.
