In-form Karela United froward Diawusie Taylor has attributed his fine form in the ongoing 2020/21 season of the Premier League to hard work and commitment.
The attacker had a slow start to last season’s truncated league which he couldn’t achieve his target in the entire league season, but rekindled to his known form hitting the back of the net 9 times for Karela United in just 11 games played in the topflight league.
Diawusie Taylor in a post-match interaction with the media said his current form in this season’s league is all about training. If you are a footballer and you want to go far in your career, you don’t have to joke with your training.
“I’m very glad today, scoring 9 goals in the Ghana Premier League is a wonderful achievement” he said.
Taylor is showing no signs of slowing down, although in his case that is hardly the point. As long as he can find enough space to get a body part to the ball ahead of his marker, he will keep scoring his goals.
“The motivation is from my coach. As he said earlier on, he has been on me for weeks now. He’s been harsh on me and due to his motivation and he’s been there for me all the time and this actually gave me the motivation to score more goals this season” he concluded.
Taylor’s impressive form this season put Karela United in 1st place of the season.
