Ex-manager for Hearts of Oak, Mohammed Polo has underlined that the only thing that could win the league title for the club is consistency.
According to Polo, the Phobians have seen a resurgence since Kosta Papic took over as manager in November last year. But the Serbian will need consistent wins to end the clubs league dought (Last time 2009).
Papic since his appointment has lost just a game, winning four and drawing three of his first sight games in charge.
“He has been fantastic so far. He is doing well and we hope he will maintain the form,” Polo told Ghana Web.
“There are reports that he says he wants to win the league for Hearts of Oak, we must all back him.
“Let’s support him because he can do it. He needs some consistency so if he is able to get that constituency then he can win it.”
“You look at where he picked the team from and where we are now, it shows that he has something good to offer.”
Hearts of Oak are currently third on the table and will next play Great Olympics in the ‘Manshie’ darby on Saturday.
