Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Jackson Owusu, who is currently a free agent says he will not turn down an opportunity to rejoin the club again.
The 32-year-old is currently in Ghana after ending his stint with Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia and has therefore reiterated his desire to return to the domestic top-flight league, especially his former club Asante Kotoko
Asked if he will love a return to Asante Kotoko, “I am a footballer and that is my work. I am opened to working with any team including Kotoko. If Kotoko assess me and they think I can help them why not, I am willing to play,” Jackson Owusu said in an interview with Opemsuo FM.
“A lot of clubs here have asked about me. But at the moment I am a free agent.”
The defensive midfielder joined the Porcupines in 2015 and left in 2019. He commanded a regular role in the team, winning the FA Cup under Coach Steven Polack.
Jackson Owusu has been linked with a move to several clubs in the Ghana Premier League including Ashanti Gold, Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko.
