King Faisal forward, Kwame Peprah has said a Black Stars call up remains his long term target.
The striker has been in red-hot form since he joined King Faisal at the start of this season.
Prolific striker, Kwame Peprah scored the only goal for King Faisal to seal a narrow 1-0 win for the side against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
In a post match interview after the game, Peprah who has never represented Ghana at any level revealed that his focus for this season is to earn a Black Stars call up.
“I will be very much excited if I get a call up. It is every player’s dream to represent your country,” he said.
“But I won’t put all my hopes on it. If it happens, that’s good. If it doesn’t, I will keep working hard to get the recognition I need.
“I want to continue to do what I am doing to help King Faisal stay in the league. That is my biggest achievement,” he added.
The young striker has scored 8 goals in the ongoing Ghanaian top flight league and currently sitting second on the top scorers list.
