Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey has expressed his delight after opening his Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season account in his side’s narrow victory over Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute from a Patrick Asmah free-kick. Nettey headed home the opener as Asmah’s cross eluded everyone in the box but the former Attram de Visser academy player who was left unmarked at the far post.
The result ensured Johnson Smith’s men moved to the third position with 16 points on the league log.
Nettey, after the game, took to social media to share his feelings on his goal and the victory.

Asante Kotoko will hope to press home this positive karma blowing in their camp when they next play Aduana Stars on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
