Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman-elect Kudjoe Fianoo says the clubs welfare body is not ‘dead’ as many had assumed.
The re-elected chairman pulled 71 votes to beat competitor Isaac Koomson who had 41 votes in intense elections earlier today.
Fianoo who has come under a lot of bashing during his first term will now continue as the chairman of the association for another four years.
Speaking after the election at the Accra Sports Stadium, the incumbent felt vindicated that his works in the last four years have earned him a second term in office.
“A very humbling moment for me and this tells you that GHALCA is not dead as they have been saying.”
