Fresh from their 4-1 loss to Dreams Fc, Liberty Professionals will attempt to make an immediate return to winning ways when they play as guest to West Africa Football Academy at the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope in a Ghana Premier League match day 11 fixture.
The Scientific soccer lads who, prior to last Sunday, had suffered four defeats in the League having huffed and puffed in the ongoing campaign, churning out uncharacteristic performances. They currently sit in 14th place in the League with 10 points.
WAFA have an impeccable record at home recording a five-game unbeaten run at the Red Bull Arena. The Academy boys have scored 13 goals and conceded nine, with the only one clean sheet coming against Berekum Chelsea in a 2-0 win.
Liberty Professionals come into this as the underdogs following an inconsistent show of form in the League. Their best away result remains a 0-0 draw in December last year against Medeama in Tarkwa on match day six.
Liberty Professionals sit four place above the relegation zone, 3 points better than 18th placed Legon Cities. Head Coach David Ocloo will hope to pull one of the surprises in the League against a side that has yet to lose at home this term.
The game is scheduled for 3pm kick off at Sogakope.
