Liberty Professionals suffered their very first home defeat of the season on Saturday as they succumbed to Ebusua Dwarfs with a 2-1 scoreline in the Ghana Premier League.
The Scientific Soccer Lads took an early lead on the 17th minute throughAbraham Wayo who score from the spot.
But their jubilation was short-lived with Asamoah Ohene Michael pulling the equalizer few minutes after the opener.
The score line remained at 1-1 moving into the break.
Back from recess, Liberty were bent on nicking it past Dwarfs but the visitors were resilient.
Dwarfs were dealt a big blow when Simon Martey was red carded in the second half.
The visitors’ resilience paid off in the course of the game with some great passing.
Sumaila Moro increased the tally for the away side on the 84th minute to seal all three points.
The late strike eventually became the winner for Dwarfs who return to winning ways.
Dwarfs have now gathered 11 points from eight games.
They have an outstanding against Asante Kotoko which will be played at a later date.
Liberty Professionals however remain on 10 points after nine games and will drop down the league log after the weekend round of matches.
