Lackluster Prince Opoku Agyemang is set to return to parent club Medeama SC after Cape Town City terminates his loan deal.
The South African side canceled the season-long loan deal with the player after an unconvincing spell in the Premier Soccer League.
Opoku Agyemang scored one goal in the seven games he featured since joining the Blue and Gold army for the 2020/2021 season.
Agyemang before leaving the shores of Ghana was the top scorer for Medema in the truncated season with eleven goals and three assists.
The 28-year-old will be registered during the second Ghana Premier League transfer window next month and his return will serve as a boost regarding the attacking options for coach Samuel Boadu.
Agyemang will add up to Ahmed Toure who joined on a free transfer and a host of other attackers.
The Yellow and Mauves are currently stumbling in the middle of the table with 14 points and have Hearts of Oak next on Thursday.
