The head coach for Medeama SC, Samuel Boadu has given credit to King Faisal following his team’s defeat to the side on Tuesday.
The Yellow and Mauve side played as a guest to the Kumasi-based club yesterday in a game that served as a matchday 13 fixture of the Ghana Premier League season.
At the end of full-time, Medeama SC lost 1-0 to King Faisal courtesy a late goal from forward Kwame Peprah.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Medeama SC gaffer Samuel Boadu expressed his disappointment with the results while lauding the performance of his boys despite the defeat.
“It’s unfortunate that we lost the game. You could see tactically we were disciplined. My boys played very well. We variated the tactics in the second half. Unfortunately it was a free kick that brought the only goal.
“It was a difficult match because King Faisal played very well and that made it very difficult for us to penetrate,” coach Samuel Boadu shared.
Following the defeat to King Faisal, Medeama SC has now dropped to 12th on the Ghana Premier League table with 17 points.
