Former Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei is hopeful that Kotoko can do the impossible over ES Setif in the second leg of the CAF Confederations cup final playoff round.
Kotoko lost the first leg, 2-1, in Accra and with the return encounter set for Sunday, the Reds would want to pull a surprise by overturning the scoreline.
Osei who had a spell with Kotoko as a player and a coach admitted that the game will be difficult but also believes football has its surprises.
“I think the Algerians are on top in terms of organisation and they are tactically disciplined. I think it will be difficult. But we have to support the team and in football, anything can happen. There are surprises so we will hope for the best.”
Kotoko will embark on their journey to Algeria today while the game will come off at 5 pm local time.
